deadlock
A stalemate in which owners or directors are split evenly and cannot act; the agreement should supply a tiebreaker (casting vote, shotgun buy-sell, mediation) because the statutory alternative is often judicial dissolution or a receiver.
In SpanishEn español
bloqueo societario (deadlock)
ExamplesEjemplos
- With two 50% owners who stopped speaking, the company was deadlocked.
