dissolution and winding up
The end of an entity in two steps: dissolution (the event that ends the business) and winding up (selling assets, paying creditors, returning contributions and splitting what is left). In an at-will partnership any partner can trigger it, which risks a fire sale.

ExamplesEjemplos
- When one partner walked out, the shop was wound up and the equipment sold at auction.
